Im happy that PD are going to implement the ability to set up private servers in an update soon on GTP. However without the ability to qualify the races aren't fair, because you get put in a random starting order on the rolling start. I hear people calling for organised races and such - but without having practice and qualy sessions 1st this would be pointless. They need to organise the game more like the PC racers like Rfactor and GTR if they're serious about the game being a Simulator and not just a console arcade game with awesome graphics and car physics.

Is that confirmed ? I have not heard anything official, I hope you are right - that would be good news.

The issue with grid placings has come up in other racing games as well, it will be interesting to see what happens. In a tournament getting endless rear of the grid starts will be a big handicap.
