Qualifying in MP

Is there a way to do a qualifying round in multiplayer, so that grid starts are based on whos got the fastest lap.

At the moment if im not wrong its based on, whoever has the lowest HP starts at the front and Highest at the back.

Pretty odd if they still havent included qualifying after all this time.
 
You can set up the race grid based on the free run times.
 
There is no option, just do qualifying as you would in real life. Make sure its grid or rolling start dbl file and fastest first.
 
It is under event rules I believe. You can find this on the far right of the screen when you are in a room. After that just leave it for 20 mins (just a random time I made up) and it will put the fastest first.

I would tell people this in your room title as they might leave because you haven't started the race.
