I am new, my question is: In practice mode A-spec free run when i just want to take one practice lap howf do you ensure the game records your time on the Rankings board? I have just run one lap, then stop the car, it gives a lap time but it won't show up on the Rankings board. I can do a complete lap save on replay to capture the lap on film, but it doesn't always show on the Rankings board. Thanks in advance for any help.

If your lap time is red, it won't count, because you either drove in the grass or hit a barrier.

Go to time trial in arcade mode and it will record your lap times, if you don't go off the track.
