Question about a bug or damaged save file

Hello fellow GT5 players,

I've got a bug and now i can't choose certain cars i want to use. It are all bought and tuned cars i can't use. When i select one of the cars i want to race with the game tells me this: '(name of the car) is not installed. Please reinstall it'.

Does anyone know what to do?

I got this problem since i reinstalled the game to repair another bug that made it impossible to play arcade mode. I quit playing the game because i couldn't repair the bug at first, but when i reinstalled the game after 6 months, and that bug was fixed, this new bug started.

I would really appreciated it if someone could help.

And sorry for my bad grammar. English is not my first language.
 
thats a DLC car, you need to reinstal the DLC

Its the arrow pointing down at the right side of the main menu, if your DLC is still there its a quick fix reintall it from there, but if its not there, you have to re-download it to you system it should still be in your PSN
 
Hello thanks for the help, but that's not it. I never downloaded any DLC. The cars that are bugged are standard cars like: Mercedes slr mclaren, chevrolet camaro, dodge charger, nissan gtr and the volkswagen sambabus. i still can buy them at the dealership but the ones i own are bugged.

What update was the save game made with, and what update are you on?
 
I'm now using the latest patch (2.12) and the saves were made in patch 2.09.

Stop the update at 2.09 install game data load the save game and test. If it's working do a update and test after, keep going to 2.12.

Although Im not positive I think there was an update that "fixed" a few cars, but in the process made a few cars already bought un usable, but deleting them and buying a new one I believe solved it. Somebody with more info on that may chime in.
 
Oke i will try the reinstall and stop the update at 2.09. Thanks a lot for helping me. I appreciate it a lot.
