Question about cheap drift beaters...

I was wondering if anyone could lend me their opinion on what they think a cheap, effective, and commonly found rear wheel drive car for a college student saving up around, lets say $10k to take up amateur drifting every so often?

I originally considered a BR-Z post college with the occasional bit of fun but it appeared to be very impractical to take a car I would frequently be using for commuting and the rare bit of fun for drifting events - unless that does seem like a decent idea, in which please, let me know! ;)

Of course, the car would be maintained and upgraded as seen fit :)

240SX! RX7 FC, Miata, AE86, Z31 300ZX, S12 200SX, RA64 Celica, Starion or Conquest, Mk3 Supra (Kinda).

Daily driving a drift car is just fine. I know plenty of people who own one car, and that one car is their drift car, and they have almost no problems.

If your budget is 10k, then you can find a complete, already drift ready car no problem.

This. Though if you are just starting out, I think buying a simple car (Like, a 240 with a welded diff and coils and stock KA) would be a smarter move.
