Question about DL last 3 patches PS3

Ive not played in a while and am currently Downloading all 3 consecutively without option on the PS3. The first one is over 1gb and is about 20/24% though it hasnt reached 20 yet. Im Wondering If after 1 I can install then continue or at least close download turn off PS3 and progress of complete patches is saved?

You can download 1 patch of 3, then the game goes installing it, then after you get the download for the 2nd patch, there you can cancel. If you cancel, the first patch only stays installed. You can also do it after the installation of the 2nd patch, where the game starts downloading the 3rd patch.

I think you will get the question when starting the game,that you need to update it over and over, untill you are at the last patch, unless you unplug internet.
