Question about Force feedback motor?

Well my question is ,can you change out the force feedback motors ? I see they are 550 size . I know there are some real nice rc motors out there . So has anyone on here done this ? I have some 27 turn e-maxx motors that I would think have more power . The shafts on the e-maxx motors seem to be the same size as the ffb motors . 💡
 
It wont work you will be joining the many 100's of people looking for motor replacements.
The G25 comes with a stepper motor or something its called a Johnson Electric HC685LG-011.
So far I have tracked it down to within 100 miles of my location but I cant buy them as a pair.
They only sell them in huge quantities lowest amount I could find was 20,000 motors.
Apparently there used in loads of applications all over the world.

Its all about tracking them down to a seller of small amounts I gave up quite frankly, I just hit dead end after dead end trying to track down replacement motors.
 
:idea:I bet that jonhson motor is used for something other then steering wheels . I'm going to cut the wires on my old wheel (blue logitech I played on ps/2) and try one of them stock e-maxx motors :) can't hurt to try. Thanks for the quick replys.

Let us know how that goes, I wonder how the stronger motor would affect the calibration and the input to the game.

Somehow I am picturing an SNL like skit where you turn it on and it rips your hands right off your arms.
