Hi all,

I have a G27 now, and after using my own brake mod and then nixim mod for 2 years, i want a load cell system. I considered buying the perfect pedal mod, but after viewing some great reviews about CSR Elite pedals, i'm sure this is exactly what i need in terms of functionality and feeling.

I'm only playing on Pc now (mainly GTR2, Netkar and CARS) and i understand that i'll have to plug the CSR Elite pedals on a usb port. The problem is my rig is far from the pc and i currently use a 5m usb extender... can i plug the pedals directly into a usb hub (using the same cable extender to connect the G27 and pedals to the pc) or do i have to buy another extender to plug the pedals in a different usb port ?

Thanks for the replies !

I'm not sure about your question but you could take a look at the AP Electrix mod, its a cheap loadcell mod for the g27.

I plug my clubsports into a powered hub that's screwed to the bottom of my desk. I put my PC far away from my setup so I just run two powered USB hubs and plug everything into that. I've had zero problems.

It's much easier to keep wires clean as well. When the wheel isn't in use, The two USB wires I stuff into organizer so you see no loose wires.

You should be able to just use a powered hub, same as any other USB device. Others might know more than I do as I have no knowledge of the pedals, though. Make sure it's a powered hub, though, I think the G27 will be using close to the maximum 500mA.

Many thanks for the replies guys ! There are power plugs near my rig so no worries about the powered hub.

In fact i was planning to get this one, but many people say that the shipping can take a looong time and there have been reliability problems in the past...

I went for the CSR elite because they can be inverted (i'll reverse brake and clutch), they're fully adjustable and they'll make a lovely set with my future csrw :D
