question about Gamestation trade-ins...

hey

i was wondering, is it possible at Gamestation to recieve cash instead of money off when trading in games and consoles? I'm planning to trade in my Xbox and all the games plus a few PS2 ones (maybe), and I'm gonna use some of the money to go towards TRD3 for free and then get the rest as cash.
 
You can do that, but you get hell of a lot less than if you got a credit note for them.
 
Yep, when i traded my PSP in for a DS they said i could take the money but offered me about £120 i think instead of the £170 i got for everything in store credit. So of course i took the store credit. IMO have a good look around and see if there is anything else you want while you're there. You're almost wasting money if you don't take the store credit :p
