well its not really meant for drifting, only for easily getting oversteer

i know there is alot more to drifting than simple tweaks with stiffness and antiroll, this is just a good starting point for people that dont know much about setting up a car.
another tip for setting up a car suspension wise, is by making ONE change at a time, and make it a BIG change, and go from there to see what it does ;)
Yes, suspension setup is very important for a car. I believe that this should be taken care of first before tuning the engine with more power.

Best thing to do is use weight transfer. Mostly the feint drift. And since weight transfer is big in gt4, you don't have to force the drift when setting up for another turn. :)

this is also my answer. i use the feint manuver to initiate most of my drifts.

Every time I look at a thread where a noob needs help in drifting, almost all the time in wathever thread like this, someone posts a link to a thread:rolleyes:, and well..........everything is said then, it becomes kinda boring trying to be helpfull:indiff: Nothing to do about it really, cus all the link posters are right.......I haven't posted some help in a while, and everytime I think: "well.....let's help out some noobs" and I go to GTPlanet, I don't need to say ANYTHING, cus all the links are posted there..........it's just......well the whole drift section is set up to be "one look at it and you know all the things you need for drifting" it feels kind of like "PRE-made" help, instead of being helpfull and help someone yourself

It's a compliment for the ones that started these VERY helpfull threads, but kinda boring.......if you know what I mean..........AHG wathever, just HAD to post this

front: stiffness=soft, antiroll=hard
rear: stiffness=hard, antiroll=soft

test it out on any car.. in life.. or in the game.. in any game at that and all cars will oversteer

I always thought a stiiff front suspension leads to more oversteer.

I can see where you're coming from. If you look at the GT3 drift forum, there are some very interesting threads brought up. There are some basic things that new members keep asking and asking. It's just not fair to have the forum constantly flooded with the same threads week after week. The forum becomes a disorganized fuss.

Again, I see your point. But at the same time, we just can't have everyone posting anything they want all the time. That wouldn't be good for any of the members.

Yeah, that WOULD have been a mess, but well.........you know what I mean:indiff:

Anyway, I use especially my settings of a car to initiate a drift, if you know what I mean, if I can't get into a drift probably, I ALWAYS head back to the settings for some LSD changes or something like that, I also use feinting, but I have to change my settings again, cause when I use braking with it, I understeer HEAVILY, gonna have another look at the drift settings depot:sly::)
