Question about LCD screens

I've got a big project in mind that consists of having 40 inch LCD screens.
I will frame them, then put them on walls and have them display pictures for a long period of time.
Think of it as paintings, more like dynamic paintings.
My question is, will these screens burn out if I leave the same picture on them for a week or more?
In other words, what's the maximum time I could leave the same image on a LCD screen?

Burn-in is not a problem with LCD screens. Yet for some reason we still use screensavers...

Burn-in is only a problem with phosphate-based displays. Mark that down in your notebook somewhere. ;)

Screen savers are cool....that's why.

But yeah, what everyone else has said about burn-in.

:) Well at least they shouldn't be called screensavers anymore. Because they don't actually save the screen. They should be called, screen distractors, or screen obfuscators, or just slide shows, maybe computer crashers?

I like "FIMM" myself, "Flashback Inducing Monitor Modulators".
