I have a question about the Lotus 111R RM mod (and probably also other RM versions)

I found out on this site that the Lotus should have around 300 something BHP. My version only has around 250ish BHP. I didn't fully tune the Lotus before I did the RM mod. Now I can't buy stage 2 and 3 engine mods for the car.

Are you supposed to fully tune the car before you do the RM conversion to get the maximum BHP out of it?

Thanks.

Nope, on the contrary. When you do the racing mod, you are warned that all previous made upgrades to the car will be lost when doing the racing modification.

Go to your main gt life page. On the left column where it has garage and replays, click the items icon. While in your Lotus, go to the part/s you want to put back on and select install. It will then install the parts that were removed due to RM. RM first for less confusion.

I know this is an almost pointless post, but I just wanted to say that swervesauce's post is great. Kudos. Reminds me what the forums used to be like pre-GT5.

Thank you. I do my homework and like contributing 👍

You don't even have to do all that, just go into tuning and re-apply the mods. It it doesn't make them vanish from the car but rather just reverts back to stock tune/parts.

Right, that's what the first part of my post states. The latter is just a breakdown of new purchase. I have it for every rm car. Its just info
