Question about max car power?

I recently bought an Audi R8 and purchased-

Stage 3 engine
6 Spd Trans
Turbo

But when I am racing, I can get to about 186mph, then it drops to 183mph for a few seconds. This happens all in 6th gear, repeatedly.

So I guess I need to know if I have exceeded the potential of the car or if this is something I can fix with some better knowledge, thanks.
