In the DYSAGT thread, there have been a lot of people claiming to have seen cars without posting pics. Not that all of the claims being posted are unbelievable, but it's stated pretty clearly in the first post that you must post a picture of the car you seen, not just one off the Internet or just a claim with no pics.
There have even been posts recently of people seeing cars on TV and claiming them as their own spots.
So my question is, what are we supposed to do about these people? I try and tell them, and sometimes they stop, but there's a few people that just don't listen. I'd report them, but I'm not sure if it's right to or not.
Basically, is it ok to just report these people or not? I kind of feel bad reporting them because I understand how exciting it can be seeing a nice car and how disappointing it is not getting proof. I was able to keep from posting the best spot on the streets I've had in my life (Ferrari 458 Spider) because I didn't get a pic, but I REALLY wanted to. But it's against the AUP to knowingly lie (which some of these picture-less claims surely are doing) against the thread rules to post a claim without a pic, and also, nobody wants to read "So guys today I seen 2 Ferrari F40s, a Veyron, and a few other really nice cars. Oh, and no pic."
