Sorry for the long title but wanted to cover it in full!
I'm a PS+ member, I renew manually every 90 days and noticed with the latest round of freebie games, they download but whereas they used to install right after, when you are still in the PS Store, now they place installers under Games on the main dashboard (in kinda "bubbles").
I guess this is more convenient and perhaps reduces PS Store traffic but it seems kinda odd, as once I installed them, the games themselves appeared in the relevant folders (PS3 games, Minis etc) but the installers still remained.
Is there any point in keeping these or should they be manually deleted if the game was successfully installed? I know if your PS+ membership lapses you can no longer play the freebie games so do I need to keep these installers for when I pay for my next 90 days or whatever? Why don't they delete once installed, and surely they take up a fair amount of HD space?
Any pointers appreciated, cheers!
