Question about Sport mode VS Lobby racing

Guys quick question....does Sport mode and custom lobby racing mode share the same Drivers Rating and Sports Rating? For example, if I participate in a race in a custom online lobby, and my DR rank increases and the game tells me my position has increased 5 places, does that affect my DR in Sport mode as well? Or are they two separate entities?
 
Separate entities. Lobbies don't effect DR/SR
 
Lobby racing doesn't affect your ratings, only Sport Mode does.

Imagine all those exploits if Lobby Racing affects SR and DR.

On a related note, why can't we sort lobbies by number of players? Kinda obvious this should be an option, yes?
