Question about Swap Disc

Is it true that when using this you have to make a back up copy of the import disc or will the ps2 read the original import disc without backing it up. I just ordered this and thought you didn't have to backup import game in order to play it when useing the swap disc. This is what I ordered.

This thread belongs in the PS2 forum. You can move it there yourself in the "admin options".
 
Sorry about that. I will try to figure out how to move it. I'm new to these boards so bare with me.
