I was wondering guys, when I have something like medium soft tires on a FR car with quite a bit of power, even when I don't do hard laps on my tires, they start to really get in the red colour after about 5 or so laps. I remember in GT2, I could go many more laps with pretty soft tires. Am I a ****ty driver, or is this normal?

He said FR, not FF. In that respect, I suppose he's lucky.

As for me, I'm no more (or less) likely to kill the front tires on ANY car merely due to drivetrains. The only difference with my driving style is how quickly the rear tires wear out

I have found that with my 729bhp Skyline R34 V-Spec II I am lucky to get two laps of any course out of Super Soft tires. They are usually green by the first corner

At Apricot Hill, the wheels were green by the first corner, the blind left hander, and by the end of the first lap the fronts were decidedly orange and the rears were starting to go....

This is why I drive a car with only 150bhp in reality, couldnt afford to go through 215/45R18s that quickly!
