Question about UK Stealth Cars

Hi! I'm new to the forum and find myself in a dilemma. I just got a hold of a Pre-order set of the 6 stealth cars. I created a new UK PSN ID and followed all the steps and the code works. I download the cars and run the game...

Problem is, it runs a new game save with no cars from the pre-order code. Do i need the disk or is there something going wrong that I am not aware of.

Right now I have a game save with cars not being able to upload and a new one that was installed.

Disk or my mistake?

The DL cars are only usable on one account. If you made a new account and downloaded them to it, you'll not be able to use them in any other/older account you may have.
 
I totally get that! The question I have is, do I need a PAL disc to be able to run them on my UK account?
 
You need a EU/PAL copy of the game in order for the cars to show up.

Without sounding cheeky then could i have the codes? as i am in the uk
 
Talking of stealth codes has anyone acquired any recently? and how much did they pay? Obviously not in this forum as your not allowed to trade for cash :)
 
I'm checking out right now to see if I can get my hands on a PAL version of the game to get them to load up with save data so I can activate them on all my accounts. Well see what happens.

Look up on eBay "ricodifranco". Power seller and great guy! I got my codes off him. Trying to find a way with him so that I can get these codes to work. His price is the best of eBay right now and he has UK edition codes

I got my codes by pre-ordering with Amazon. I can use the cars in any profile I create on my PS3 - including the USA one. I do, of course, have a EU/PAL copy of the game.
 
As mentioned EU/PAL Codes only Work on EU/PAL Disc's

Workaround maybe to get a EU/PAL Disc and hope it works in your Machine , then all you will need is a EU/PAL Account .

Stealth Cars on EU/PAL Accounts . If you have more than 1 Account on your Machine ( I have 3 ) The Cars Will be Automatically Added to any New Accounts Created on the Same PS3 .

Also as the Account can be Transferred to Another PS3 as long as you have the Same Account Details you can still have the Cars on the Other Machine

Also works for EU/PAL Chromelines .

Oh yeah one of my Accounts is a US account and that still has the EU/PAL Stealths on it :D
 
Thanks for the confirmation Harley45! Exactly what I was thinking. That's why I'm trying to see if I can work something out with the seller on eBay.

Once the Codes are used EVEN by Mistake i:e used on a NON EU PS3 , there USED and thats it no Comebacks , there Strictly a ONE TIME SHOT and forever Tied to the Account they are Declared on .

So be carefull :)
 
Yea... that's what happened. The seller is awesome and it was both our mistake for not looking into it more... and I don't like to cheat people out of anything. If I can pick up a copy of the game for not too much... I'll just pick it up! We'll see!
