Question about wheelstand

I am debating get a Wheel stand pro or build my own rig for my G27. I wanted to know is the Wheel stand pro worth the $250 price tag or should I do a DIY rig?

I have a few ideas in mind but I have one question about the rigs. I see it is popular to have the wheel supported by a bar that goes up between your legs. I want to know is that bar annoying when Heel-toeing and stable? If not I'm not sure what route I should go then.

The bar doesnt cause me any problems, as its quite a distance from your feet. The bar for me is just between my thighs.
As for overall build quality and adjustment, the wheelstandpro is top notch.

I had the same thought when I was looking for a stand. I ended up building my own. $20 for wood and screws

I agree, have my t500 rs mounted to mine and its extremely stable. 👍

This. I use the dfgt stand on my g27 cause i swapped wheels. The only issue is it moves foward and back a bit when changing gears etc. But you wouldnt notice it.

Since when is wheelstand pro $250? Isn't around $160 for the G27/T500 version?

If you don't need to put it away from time to time adn don't bother about the space it will take when up, you can easily build something as good but much cheaper out of wood.

But if you need to put it away often, I wheelstand is a very good solution. I have the Fanatic wheelstand for my G27 and I was suprised how stable it is and how quick you can put it up/away. The center post is not in the way at all.
