hi all,
I know that there will be comments about... go here and find a tune... but; when I get a new-to-me-car I use a basic set-up for the suspension. Basically it would look like this:
Ride -max /-max
Spring +5 / +5 to whatever the initial was. (Example:Stock 11+5=16 etc.)
comp 8 /8
expand 6/ 6
Roll 7 / 7
LSD
5/20/8

I have found that some cars will handle 'okay'; but most high powered cars will 'wiggle' through higher speed corners.
Without getting into specific cars; is there a general rule to 'cure' this problem? Lets assume that the car is rear-drive.
Thanks

So you're loose? Rear end it probably too stiff..To be honest, to get an idea on where to go, you really should check out some tunes from the top guys. I"m not saying just copy them but just look at their setting and adjust a little for your driving style.

Since you just slam every car to the ground, I'd assume you might be bottoming out. Stop it.

Lol. I don't know why, but your post really did make me laugh out loud. I think it was probably the "stop it" at the end....like you were talking to a 2 year old or something, lol. No offense to the OP.

He's always like this. Like or hate it, I think there's nothing in between. :)

Try the setting on a very flat track and it probably won't wiggle. Slamming a car is not always the best choice, often a small increase by 5 is already enough to solve it.

Bars at 7 is, at least in my eyes, usually a bit too high.

What's your toe setting btw?

I don't think it's a low ride height that makes the cars "wiggle". The way you set up your car seems to be pretty similar to how I set mine up, except for many cars, I don't tune with low ride height and they still "wiggle". Only tunes that can generate a huge amount of grip seem to wiggle and they still get great lap speed, so I don't especially try to tune it away.

It could be toe.

Yea, I know this as I have him on my PS3 friends list and have had many conversations with him on these forums before. I don't mind his directness as I am much the same way. I have my share of haters here on these forums I'm sure, lol. I consider Adrenaline one of the "good guys" on these forums.

Generally I don't touch toe or camber until I get an idea of the car's 'natural feel' for over/understeer; then I start to tweek those areas. I'll try acouple of my new set-ups but will try raising the car off of the ground (not -max). I do have cars that I have had to adjust the toe to either get them alittle loose or, generally to dial in the oversteer.
Thanks for the input, and I'll go check some of the tune post for specific cars and see what they look and feel like compared to mine.
Thanks everyone.

If your car(RWD) isn't wiggling, you're not driving hard enough. Every single RWD car in the game wiggles when I drive it.(Unless they don't have enough grip/power)

i agree, that ride height is too low and the antiroll bars is too stiff because these roll bars gonna make it understeer instead of oversteer
