Question concerning realistic driving aids

I understand that with driving aids set to realistic, ABS, SC and TC are allowed on cars that have these in real life. However; are these driving aids on by default when the car has is in real life, or are they just available and do I have to turn them on with an assigned button?

I'm asking this because I don't have enough buttons left for turning the driving aids on and off...
 
Get a cheap keyboard dude use that for extra buttons and tc/abs etc should show an icon under the speedo dial if there on
 
Sorry for the late seply, but briliant idea!

Will any keyboard with USB connection do?
 
Yeh m8 it should work fine I went and got a cheap wireless one from tesco
