My brother's game has a glitch that I don't understand. When he goes to his garage, the "Gift" icon doesn't appear for any of his cars. He has all of the updates but we can't figure it out.
Any suggestions??

Maybe it's untraceable. Cars worth 950,000 credits or over cannot be traded.

Maybe it's untradeable.

Yeah this is probably the most logical and common reason. Either that or check if you're even online/connected to PSN.

Is he connected to the GT5 server?

That option won't be available if the system isn't connected.

Go to the community tab, select the person you want to send it to, click on "gift", select "from garage", select the car you want to send. 👍

If the car's value is over 999,999 Cr. then it is not possible to give it to another account. Maybe that's why you can't see the gift icon.

Just press the triangle button while on the thumbnail of a car you own and if you can trade it, there should be a "give to friend" option in the drop down menu (if you don't want to bother going into the community/gift section).

I sent him the replies and he is going to give it a try. It didn't matter if the cars were 30,000 credits or 1,000,000 credits...the "Gift" icon never appears for any of the cars.
