Question for those going to Silverstone.

Me and my dad still have not recieved our tickets, is anyone else experiencing the same problems? They have now said that tickets will be dispatched on June 5th. 4 days before the actual event, thats pushing it really don't you think?

When did you order them? I went last year, ordered my tickets in Janurary and they arrived 21st June (the race was 8th-10th July). I would've thought you should have got them by now, but if you only ordered them, say, last week, then that's probably about right.

Can't go this year, I'm going to Donnington Park for the Download Festival.

You should be fine. They'll send the tickets out Special Delivery (so someone will need to be in or go to the nearest Sorting Office). Special Delivery is well over 95% in its success rate for overnight send/receive.

If you don't have them by the Thursday, you should go anyway. Drive to the circuit, and go to the ticket office, which is outside the ticketed perimeter. Ensure you have your booking receipt and any evidence of having been charged (credit card statement etc) together with some ID that proves your name and address (driver's license should be fine) and go get tickets there & then.

But I would phone the ticket office every day from June 5th to give them some encouragement...
