Question for those in the UK who ordered through UPS...

I just found out that UPS likes to tag on a nice big import fee when they send stuff over to the UK...has anyone who ordered from play-asia been hit with any import taxes? Or does play-asia declare the price really low to try and avoid this?

Now i can't wait for GT4 but in a way i don't want it to turn up :crazy:

ps. how much extra will be thrown on should i get caught? I haven't used UPS before so i'm clueless
 
I'm from Italy and ordered GT4 Japanese from Play Asia with the ups express shipping method. I've payed extra 14.60 euro of import taxes + 13 euro of COD fees on customs payment when I received the package 👎

70 euro for GT4+ups express
27 euro of taxes

It's been expensive but I've received it in 3 days. I don't know if I'll buy the PAL version since I can make sense of most of the japanese text, including car and dealer descriptions
 
Damn, I hope they don't charge us any more ...it's already costing £47 :grumpy:

Now that I think of it, they probably will coz £47 is quite cheap

If its chipped you can use a euro ps2

Blahhh its going to be outrageous if we have to pay another 20 quid or so on top of the 15 already spent on shipping...its going to cost as much as the game did
