I drive automatic in real life .. I know I know :yuck:
Well I've bought a G25 to learn manual lol
So far I've become sufficient with the 6 speed shifter
Heel and toeing down shift

Now I want to learn when to left foot brake (of course with clutch enabled)👍

It seems that lets say the first long right on Suzuka, left foot braking is pretty effective in shifting weight to the front to grip out of the exit.

How about on sharper corners, should I do my usual brake early heal toe down shift and gas out of the corner WITHOUT left foot braking, or should I brake later and heal toe downshift then use heal toe to simulate left foot braking since my left foot is busy with the clutch, for the fastest times

this is a weird method i always used

i used my toes and top end of foot on the clutch and use my heel on the brake so its like reverse heel and toe, its a very strange method i now :)

Very strange indeed, :).
I feel that if you do not need your left foot for the clutch you should use it for the brake. One of the way's top drivers lower their lap times is by minimizing the time between throttle and brake and vise verse. Left foot braking is also useful for planting the front before entering a fast, almost flat out corner, without actually lifting off. When exiting a corner and you start to understeer, usually trailing off the throttle is enough to plant the front, if you have to use brakes, you maybe apexing to early, not apexing at all or you are pushing way to hard on exit. All your downshifting and heavy braking should be done before corner turn in and then trail off the brake as you turn toward the apex. Depending on the corner, you should be squeezing on the throttle somewhere before the apex and continue adding throttle the rest of the way through. You should be at full throttle just before you are heading down the straight.

The esses at Suzuka is a good practiceground for leftfoot braking with enabled clutch. I tend to leftfoot brake through sections of track where I don´t really have to shift, like the esses.

Where ever I don't need to use the clutch I will left foot brake if I need, good example is the Suzuka esses mentioned above. I always heel toe on downshifts, then corners like turn 1 on Eiger (just after the downhill jump) I will downshift (heel toe) then just as I come around to corner 2 my left foot will already be back ready for the brake if I feel I need it.

Thanks for the replies.
I've been racing online in the 550pt rwd Suzuka races and it doesn't feel like left foot braking is required at the Esses except for maybe some quick corrections if needed. I'm guessing that changes when I go onto the higher power races.

My post has pretty much been all over the place hahaha, but I what I wanted to ask aswell was do you guys ever use heel toe to simulate left foot braking when your clutch feet is busy or your right foot is already on the brake but you need to start gassing and braking at the same time to control understeer.
