I'm looking to get a wheel stand pro or a rennsport stand, and can't decide between the two. Which one of the two is best? I've heard good things about both of them.

Also does the center pole interfere with left foot braking?

My friend has the Wheelstand Pro and he and I have nothing but good things to say about it :) The center pole will never be as good as an arch type system where you can get easy access to all three pedals. For him, we disconnected the clutch pedal and put the brake on the left (CSR-Elite pedals). I did the same when I had a rig with a center post (see my rig post in my sig and go back to the first posts). That was on the G27 and had to put a pot on the clutch pedal wires...

Here is my thread on removing the G27 clutch: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=257663

Hi,

I owned both. Both are good but for me the WSP is the winner. Just a bit more adjustable and well ingineerd. And the center pole is no problem.

Thank you all for the quick responses.

Another option is the Gamepod GT1, im suggesting this as i have a rig from them and its solid. Excellent quality and a load of extras can be added. Hava a look here;

It certainly looks nice, however it really wouldn't work with my setup. I would need a wheel stand of some sort.

Also I only plan on left foot braking in F1 games.

The GT1 is a wheel stand very similar to both you have been looking at, however price is a little more.

I have both the wheelstandpro and Rennsport. They are both excellent. The Rennsport is cheaper and more sturdy. The wheelstandpro is more adjustable and it can be folded up more easily.

Either way, you cannot go wrong.

+1 for the Rennsport Wheel Stand, i don't fold mine up just pick it up a store it in the spare room.

I have a wheelstand pro with T500RS (and previously had one with DFGT). The centre post does not get in the way of left foot braking. The post is behind your ankles and the area of your feet in contact with the pedals is well past the post.

I also don't have a problem with access - just tip the stand forward.

Quality, service and speed of delivery are all outstanding. I understand that the reason the quality is so good is because wheelstand pro are made by a company which specialises in the manufacture of hydraulic equipment - the quality of the metal cutting is really so good that you wouldn't think it had been cut at all.

I have had 2 wheel stand pros and they are awesome. I'm trying to sell one now if I can figure out how to post on the trading post forum

I've got the Rennsport, it works great. Centre post doesn't really get in the way at all. No noticeable movement front/back or side to side when it's in action.
Haven't used the WSP so I can't comment on that, but definitely no complaints with the Rennsport. Good luck!
