Question: Formula GT World Championship

I haven't played GT4 in probably 6 months or so. I picked it back up the other day, and I'm in the middle of the Formula GT World Championship. I've completed 11/15 of the races, placing 1st in each.

These things are really long, and it's taking forever. Is there some reason I would need to place 1st in the rest of them? If I B-spec'd the rest, or even forfeited the rest (I'd still be 1st overall) would I be able to go back and do the rest of the races individually for eventual 100% game completion? Or do I need to race the last 4 and get 1sts?
 
Nope, no need to do it really. 👍

If you are sure (based on the points and the possible end results of those points) that you will win, then you can skip the races and still get first place.

Just make sure you don't quit the championship. 👎

To skip the races you will have to start them, then quit that race, then start the next race.

However, if you skip them without quitting the championship (and the points are set so you will win in the end) then you should be just fine.

My suggestion is to skip the races but don't save anything until you've skipped them all and made sure you are the winner of the overall title in the series.

You don't want to skip a few and end up saving before you've had the chance to realize you might not be able to win the overall. :ouch:

Shouldn't be ashamed of Louisiana. I'm from Houma. I have friends from Dulac!! Can't be worse that that lol
 
Quick question.

I'm looking to tackle that series soon and I'm wondering if a LMS car has the ability to win. If not, what car will compete at that level? Thanks.

Check the race reports forum- I know I saw a report about somebody winning that series in an Audi R8. 👍
 
I won the FGT race at the 'ring in a Pescarolo Judd C60 Race Car on R2s with ballast. The LM cars are slower but you can use harder tyres and so do less stops.
 
the f1 races are not too long........oh wait i'm the crazy one that does 90% of the races i do on A-spec mode. but to be seroius just b-spec these races if you really want to get the C-9 much quciker......but thats a no brainer.

As Kent says, you can skip the rest of the races and still win the championship, but in order to get 100% completion of the game, you will still have to win those races you skipped (either in A-Spec or B-Spec) eventually... each individual race is worth about 0.2% to the completion total...
