I've heard it called something along the lines of "Pidgeot" like the Pokemon. 
Also heard it pronounced like "Persio", like "Persia" with an "O" (from Top Gear).
Then my mom says we in America pronounce it like "Pew - joe" or maybe she said "Pew - show". Couldn't tell you since it was on the phone.
EDIT: Also heard someone call it "Poi - joe"
This is irritating me.. and if I don't figure it out, I'll just insult it by saying Pidgeot.
