Question on International A (ONE Make Races)

Obviously you can race more than one type of car in some of these races. I can't seem to even get close. What cars are you using and are there special tunes?

And a follow on questions...

What cars are you using in the NASCAR Cup & Dream Car Championships? Haven't even started those yet.
 
Haven't got that far in this save but in my previous save, I used the GT-R R35 TC for the GT-R race as all the other cars are that model....I remember winning it quite easily once I swapped to that car, you should be able to make up the time in the corners and, if really struggling, then use the power upgrades. That car is pretty easy to drive without TCS or SRF or anything. The other 2 races I just used whatever car is the one you can use, may have added some power upgrades (can't remember) but I didn't have much trouble with it.

The Nascar Cup I used whatever Nascar gift car I was given for getting half the stars on that level and just altered the transmission to give me an extra 10mph top speed which gave me enough of an advantage on the ovals (just remember that the ovals are the ones with a 70% power limiter, Willow and HSR can have 100% power). Dream Car I can't remember.

Sorry I can't help more but I restarted my save so am not that far yet
 
For the Dream Car Championship I used the Audi R18, pretty quick car if you ask me. If you have the Anniversary Packs that don't have the Audi R18 then try using the GT3 cars. :)
 
Oh yeah, the Dream Car Championship is the one with the high power race cars isn't it? The Minolta, Speed 8s etc? If it's that one, then, personally, I used the Chapparal 2J which, in all honesty, feels like I'm cheating as it has almost as much grip as the Red Bulls but I already had it after buying for the IB Historic races and it is fun to drive. Also used it on Like The Wind with top speed set at 286mph and walked it (unsurprisingly).....it's amazing how fast it will go for a car with only 3 gears lol

Used this tune for the Aventador, Tune and just used the GT-R R35 and won both races without too much trouble.
