Question re: purchasing the Stealth cars online.

Hello Experts.
I have the standard issue GT game, and I'm at level 27 A Spec.
My question is, can I purchase the awesome cool Stealth cars, and the Red Bull Prototype online for real money, and install them in my game?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

While such items shouldn't be available on ebay as they violate their Rules & policies:

Personally, as an owner of the Prototype and a Stealth McLaren F1, I don't see the point of wanting to pay actual cash for them and even if I didn't have them would never do so.
 
You can always try and get them by trading cars from your garage for an unused voucher ticket. Please do not support those idiots on eBay.
 
The voucher codes expire on 1-31-11. So after that they wont work and you can not trade stealth cars. So there is no way for you to get them.

TB, you say you have the Prototype and the Stealth F1. How did you aquire them? I have no aversion to doing things properly.

One can be purchased in the dealership, and the other is for preordering through gamestop. You cannot trade chromeline or stealth cars or doup them in any way.

You can buy them on ebay for insane prices, sometimes upwards of what the game costs, and your only getting a car that tunes slightly higher then ones from the dealership, that and they have adjustable downforce on the front.
Since the ebay sales are against the ebay rules, I wouldnt expect you to pay and even get anything.

You can't trade car for car, but I've seen people offer up unused vouchers in trade for cars.

I love how these ebay stealth car ads are at the top of the forum even as I type this.
 
I bought the Collector Edition and I bought some codes from eBay that weren't included way back when....all worked great...since they expire on the 31st maybe they're gonna have a fire sale...

The Stealth F1 was for pre-ordering from Gamestop and the X2010 Prototype was... acquired.
 
Technically you could do it in time. You need to redem the codes by monday. So if you bought them tomorrow, and the code was e-mailed straight away you would have time. And he gets round the intangible problem by posting you the sheet with the code on. That is a tangible item that you are purchasing. Make sure you get the correct uk or us codes. Cos they don't work on the wrong system. Some may disapprove. But i bought them this way and it went without a hitch.
