Some of the cars spin out to easily when i am going through turns. I was wondering if there are any parts that you can buy or any settings to change that would stop the spinning. Somebody help me.

I assume you are decent at lifting off throttle and counter steering.

Buy better tires.

Racing suspension

Racing modification

Brake balance controller.

Put the throttle on more gently in rear drive cars.

Try adding more down force and a little rear camber.

Put the front and rear ride height the same or make the rear lower than the front.

i can't remember the rule for damping. i think its rebound higher than bound.

If you use manual, or if the semi-auto trick works in GT2, you can have the car a gear high, that usually puts the rpm a bit high and at a lower amount of torque. You can also try changing the gearing so that its after shift rpm is somewhat below or above the torque peak.

Semi-auto should be harder if the gear into the corner is not near to changing into the next since you cannot shift up, which means you could either end up bouncing revs through the turn or just wasting your time.

do you have an anolog controller if not that is what you need , if you already have one this is what I suggest go to the options menu :controller configuration press the analog button move to the gas button and change it so that your gas is right stick up and brake is right stick down when you use the analog stick for gas and brake you can give it just a little gas in the corner and as you exit floor it all the way , understand if not ask me to explain further and I will

Talentless - you're so bloody sensible... ;)

...and you're signature takes up too much bandwidth!! :)

I havent been on here in a while to write back. I was wondering if any of those parts for professionals work(the ones in others) and which settings to set them on. I was reading the other posts and I think the problem is just the type of drivetrain.

The full customise suspension under professionals is great. Many cars work well with springs tight as possible and ride hieght as low as possible. Also full racing transmission is good. Set auto setting to high for top speeds (this also helps a bit with spin out on high HP FR cars). Set auto setting lower for quick take offs.

set your rear camber more negative like between (-1.7)-(2.7). lower rear spring rate from 1lb-2lbs lighter from the front spring rate. Lower the rear sway bar level. Set toe-in at the rear.
Only adjust one thing at a time. Doing all might make your vehicle understeer.

BTW, be lighter on the trottle when in a turn. WOT when almost out of the turn.

Get the Full limited slip option. As a baseline set your initial to 5. your accel to 30, and your decel to 15. Then adjust, keeping your "accel" at about twice your "decel" value. This is For FR cars only. 4WD is more complicated. For FF cars just buy the one way limited slip.
For cars like the TVR Speed 12, the MR-2 race car, and MR-2 turbo (fully tweaked). Drop the 50,000cr on the TCM and set it around 51 and play with it until you can hang the tail out as much as you want to without spinning. Hope this helps. Oh yeah, in GT2 you can make all your setting for a car go back to factory settings by pressing the "select" button while in each screen for set-up. For example, if you have messed with the original gear ratios and want to just go back to the default setting press the "select" button and the ratios will go back to stock.

or if you don't like spending your money, there's always the harder, more annoying way. It's called practice. JUst kepp taking your turns differently until you find a good method of getting round.

Big hint: Don't use handbrake in FR cars like :tvr: Speed 12, :dodge: Vipers, etc to get round your corners.

I think you also need some practise with your accelerator with how powered rear wheel drive cars!

That might stop the spinning. Just lighten up on the gas!

there'salso the bullying tactic to get round corners which I use all the time. if you and some other car are side by side and coming up to a corner, make sure your on the inside (example - right turn, the inside would be the right hand side of the road) and tap your brakes. This will put the other car just in front. Now you should be able to ride around the corner using the opponent car. You shouldn't spin out too easily and won't lose so much speed in the corner.

For cars like toms supra, S2000LM and the denso sard supra, i corner in 3rd gear. Nothing lower. It keeps the revs down a bit but you still have to be careful. Revs tend to sneak up...
