Hey,

Wondered if anyone could answer these...

1. When does Fuel Depletion kick in? I have never noticed a change at all.

2. When am I supposed to know when to get new tyres? How do I find out if the tyres are completley worn out?

3. How often is oil supposed to be changed on your car?

1- Do a lap on the nurburgring and you will notice it
2- Check where your tire are in the HUD they indicate 2 things first the color is the temperature of your tire and second you will notice that the tire itself is a bar, this bar will decrease that the tire life
3-Really dont know ... I change my oil when I get a used car ... but I never change my oil after that, its take some time, you oil light will light in the HUD when you need to do it.

once you unlock and start doing some endurance races you'll deff tell you need to pit to change tires and fuel up

It kicks in in the Extreme series in B-Spec mode. I assume the Endurance races in A-Spec mode and it is there from the begining in online mode.

You really shouldn't wait until the light comes on. I personally change the oil every 3 to 4 races. Imagine you were racing your car in real life and pushing it to the limits.. you would probably be changing your oil pretty often too.

I'm working towards that level... does anyone else find it a little disappointing that this isn't implemented from the beginning. It's not like it's a function that only the most skilled of players will be able to master - especially in Clubman Cup races :D

Did the refueling in endurance races confuse anyone else at first? I pitted and told it how many liters to put in, they jacked the car up, changed the tires, let it down, and it just sat there. I thought something was wrong with the game at first as the fuel gauge does not go up as they are refueling the car. Then all the sudden the gauge goes where it should and you are on your way. I was like "phew"!

You can tell if your oil needs to be changed by the color of it. Buy a used car with high miles, go to the oil change screen and you'll notice the indicator on the left... The oil is very dark, sometimes sludgy looking. Once the oil change is done you'll notice the indicator fill back up, and the new oil is much lighter in color.

When your oil is looking dark and sludgy, probably time to change it. That's how I use it anyway...

so whats the point of the oil indicator light than?

I did 20 to 30 races in my minolta before I changed it. Increased the HP a little but I don't think it is like a real car where you will do permnate damage. But I could be wrong.

Even when it is clean like a new car or a prize car changing the oil will increase HP.
