I don't have any experience with Logitech CS. I owned a really big number of Logitech devices (including DFP wheel) and none of them have ever failed! (knocking on wood...)
Regarding Thrustmaster I can not go through all your points, since I can only talk about German CS. When I received my T500 I had two questions about "noise" and "scratches". You can find my post at ISR. I received a reply within 1 day. After the first contact they asked about a picture from the scratches and a video if the sound to get an idea what I exactly mean. They offered a filehosting service to upload the requested data. Therafter I received a quick reply.
Beside that I had no issues with my RGT (from 2006). T500 is too new to give a opinion. My older non-FFB wheels from TM (1997 & 2000) are also still working without any issue.
when it comes to logitech - only once have i needed to contact them for a powersupply and it was out of warranty by one year.
i had expected to pay for it but instead they shipped me a new one free of charge and there was a delay of only five days from the time i called to having the part in my hand. excellent
as for thrustmaster i have the T500RS - no problems at all.
i also have an old Ferrari Forcefeedback wheel built in 2000
after 12 years have never had a problem.
several joysticks - no problems.
No experience w/ thrustmaster cs yet...my t500 has been solid since day 1 (knock on wood).
Logitech- superb cs, everything was handled in one call. They asked me what the problem was and thats it! They sent me a shipping label and got my replacement wheel in no time...stress-free transaction.
