Hello Yamauchi-san
I'm Angel, leader/founder of TeamA99E, one day in an online lobby we had a couple of friends discussing about how players would like to express their art to their cars whether if it was paint or body style, this thread will have questions on each section. (Body, Paint, Vinyls)
let's first start with body, i'm sure you remember the illegal modifications with the hybrids back in GT5 with the possibility of removing spoilers, front bumpers, boosting the engines horsepower rate and differential setups and even having the ability to change the chassis of the car so that the tires can poke out a bit more, all of this just to have the player feel like he's actually drifting a powerful drift car.
(Old photos in GT5 to show the beauty of the modifications)
Having the player to freely modify his/her car whether if it's having the rear rims different than the ones up front or having the ability to edit body parts of the car.
Having to edit not 80% or 90% of the car but 110% of the car
picture this, when you enter the GT shop to add a spoilers or remove it
imagine a section where you can edit your cars body parts?
you click a body part for example the front bumper, you can choose whether if you want to remove it or leave it there.
You can also have the ability to change how wide, long or how big or small you want the vents to be.
also being able to edit the cars body parts if you want it long or short or how wide you want it to be
as in front bumpers, side skirts, rear bumpers, diffusers, rims etc.
(Lets take these need for speed carbon autosculpt mode as a reference)
I myself love the new feature of editing the spoilers in GT6 on how wide or how tall/short you want it to be, picture it now more enhanced and with more spoiler options on how you can edit it to your liking.
imagine where you can have the ability to edit the rims/tires too, how big or if you want a deep dish feeling to it?
My question is how will Gran Turismo body customization pull out in the future?
Will this be in the next franchise (GT7) or maybe in the next possible update for (GT6)?
One of my concerns on the cars in Gran Turismo was the offset feature.
there's none.
This improves car handling whether if it's drifting or racing, can this also be an addition to the game?
Paint is something we all wonder, why not have a free editing paint color wheel of different colors instead of paint chips?
Vinyls/window decals/livery are something everyone was probably hoping in a racing game, especially in the Gran Turismo series but having it as a do-it-yourself.
Another reference as the top idea, you enter the paint shop this time but there's a special section where you have the ability to get an image off of your USB by clicking the "choose image button" and placing the image whether if it's a .png format or .jpg and placing it on the car?
-((Agreeing with a future agreement of no nudity or lewd images))
Also maybe for newcomers (who don't know much about photo editing)
the developers can create something like putting some livery's or vinyls in the online PlayStation store for each car
(having to buy it for $1.99-4.99) making a huge profit as well.
Picture how not just great it'll be but how colorful and how beautiful Gran Turismo will be in the future and how it'll top off to be one of the best racing games on the planet.
Mr. Yamauchi,
My last questions
what do you think of this idea?
will more customization be an addition to the game?
will some of this idea also be included in the game?

Additional question:
As for an additional feature on tracks
how about adding some of Japans finest canyons for the drifters as a DLC?
