I had a gas pedal (on a G25) that was that was registering a tiny bit of input while it had no input. So if I stopped a car it would rev up slightly an creep forward.
I tried cleaning the pot with contact cleaner, but in the end what fixed it was simply twisting the potentiometer a bit. I guess it was a bit loose, it had turned to the point it was giving a little gas. So I just spun it back the other way and its back to normal.
I dont know if theres a scew I could tighten to keep it in place, I just couldnt see anything I could access. It may move again down the road, but atleast I'll know where to look.
I know this isn't very descriptive or anything but I havent found anything else covering this, just a lot of responses suggesting cleaning.
