I would like to try my hand at starting a racing series. I would like to base it on Japanese Time Attack.
This is, mainly, a hyrbid racing series. But, as long as the cars and racers conform to the rules, non hybrids are very welcome. If we get more than a few non hybrid cars, then I might make a seprate points system.
Basically any production Japanese car. (will make a list, if people start showing interest)
Basically any mods, but there will be some stuff excluded like 96/50 brakes, all F1 parts, etc. (once again, I'm not going to waste my time doing a complete series build if no one wants to join, so I will make a list of non-available mods, later)
The power multiplier code can be used, but only for lowering horsepower. Any multiplier over 1.000 is not aloud. This rule will probably spark some contraversy. (I will most likely change it. I just want to see what people think)
Also, all racers will be incouraged to submit a "real world" mods sheet. The more detailed, the better. Once I recieve all of them, I will post them on the board, just for fun.
I will show an example once the series is completely built.
Three warm up laps, and then 3 hot laps. Racers will pick their best lap time, and submit all four section times. Section 2 times can be disgust on the board. I think everyone knows by now that cheating is a big no-no. If there is a protest, replays must be submitted for review.
Basic Max Horsepower Rules:
N/A <2.0L - 246bhp (250ps)
Turbo <2.0L - 591bhp (600ps)
N/A >2.0L - 493bhp (500ps)
Turbo >2.0L - 985bhp (1000ps)
The displacement references are based on stock displacement.
If your car is originally an N/A car, and a turbo kit is added, the car then moves into the Turbo category.
Tracks
Trial Mountain
Deep Forest
Tokyo Route 246
Special Stage Route 5 Wet
Midfeild
That's the just of it. Tell me if you're interested. I am looking for as much feed back as possible on this. If you don't like this series, then please give me some suggestions to make it better!
