Quick match won't work!

I've tried to enter the prototype race for some time. It takes me to the menu, then a few seconds later tells me that matching is done and other players are loading. Then it loads for a minute, then the screen goes black for another couple minutes. Then I hear a buzz, but the screen remains black for another minute or two. Then the message "Entry failed" comes up, and I'm back at the menu but frozen for 20 seconds. Finally, there's a "You have been disconnected from the server". PSN, seasonal events, and open lobbies work fine. Help!

Edit: I am having similar troubles with it by the way.
