Back to smoother, wide open pastures (as promised, Niels ;) ). You can drive this one for hours shaving a tenth here, a hundredth there :) It's really good fun -- I hope you guys like it 👍

  • +20% Power (190hp)
  • -10% Weight (1035kg)
  • Sport Soft Tires (SS)
  • Any ASM/TCS settings you like.

Rules:
  • Have fun! ;)
  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
  • rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • no hybrids
  • no cheating of any kind
  • nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  • save your replay ('save ghost' icon)

Post your best times in the thread. It's a permanent spot race, so there is no deadline. Take your time and have fun! Replays are appreciated, but not required.

To me the shorter version is more fun, because it bypasses the very, very tricky chicane at the end of the full circuit. I hate running a 2 minute lap with such a high chance of borking the lap in the last turn :p

Thought this was the really short one ON PAUSE, 3rd Lap, turning a,1.45.7 time.

I hoping to get a few laps in tonight but whilst backing up my mem card it has now frozen half way though. Hold on to your hats everyone, this could be a rough ride. :(

Tried again today after work and managed a 1'36.698. Mr. P, you are insanely fast.

T1 - 0'35.868
T2 - 1'08.243
Time - 1'36.698
 
Well, tried this when it was first posted for 10 laps and haven't done better since. 1.41.633 was the best I could do. Tried almost 30 laps since with no better results. I am getting better overall, shaved 2 seconds off my time at Citti di Aria!

Split times are as follows:

T2-1.12.345

Had some more laps and it took me a while to beat this ... 35.686 / 1'07.737 - 1'36.003 with this lap ...

35.539 / 1'07.815 - 1'35.996

I know a 1'35.7 would be my ideal time but I am not as mad on this combo quite like the last one .. so will leave it at that until it's beat ;) 👍

Was without internet service this morning, and I was like a baby with no pacifier.:grumpy: I have shaved a little off my time here. 1.40.754. Learning not to brake when it isn't needed, but I still lack really accurate throttle control. Think my lines are fairly good except where the two chicanes are linked. Love the way this little car drives.👍

Only a marginal improvement, and I'm pretty sure I'm finished with this one.

Thanks for yet another nice little combo, Luke. :cheers: The MG was almost to nice to drive compared to the Clio, the Opera and the Berlinette. All of them had that little edge, that made me wanna race again and again.

Looking forward to the next one. :D
