Quick question about CSR E windows test screen.

Quick question about CSR E windows test screen.

So far my CSR E is brilliant in all the games I play. I think I like it best in F1 2010, the thing is just brutal. But I have a weird thing when testing the wheel in the windows desktop.

All the buttons work, the paddles, the joystick etc, but the only pedal that registers is the brake. The gas and clutch don't register. Yet the pedals work great in the game with no problems. Is there something wrong with the desktop program?

Like I said this is more of of a pet peeve than anything since the wheel works fine. I'm just wondering why the desktop program won't see those two pedals.

Don't own the wheel but I'm going to take a guess.

Is ACL on? Have you tried the wheels directly to the PC?
 
Sorry. There's a function built into the wheel that when paddles are used the clutch is automatically pressed.

It mimics pressing the A button I think.
Basically if that's applied I would imagine that windows would show incorrect or no input.
Just a guess here mate. I would guess its on the wheel settings. Blue digital display.

Maybe someone who owns one could chime in. Set it to off if you find it. All buttons, pedals should operate independentally and be recognised.

If its not that then I'm out of ideas pal.
 
Lol I was goofing around with the blue display the other day, I don't know what half that stuff does. How do I put it back to default?
 
Just go to ACL off (default). I don't believe this is the issue as the system shouldn't recognize anything differently because of ACL being on or off as it only comes in to play when the paddles are pulled. How are the pedals connected?
 
Hmmmm, I just saw a thread where the little blue light stays on. Mine doesn't have this problem but before when I went into PC mode the little blue light never came on. Now when I go into PC mode the wheel has the little blue light, and then it will go into PC mode. Before it just went into PC mode. Now again, the wheel works fine but in the PC calibration tests, the gas and clutch pedal don't show up at all. but work in the game. Really weird.
