Quick Question... About GT5P

I looked and couldn't find this anywhere on the site... I know there is a Spec III and that is the newest release of GT5P with all the cars and tracks, but I can not find the game at Best Buy or anywhere saying Spec III on the case all it says is greatest hits and has a GTR on it? So is this the Spec III verison of the game or will I have to still download all the extra cars and stuff etc? Thanks for any help sorry for the silly question. Since GT5 is not going to be until March/Springish I getting GT5P when I get my PS3 to hold me over and was just wondering. Thanks again!
 
Not possitive but I'm pretty sure you will need to dl all the latest stuff for it 👍
 
Thanks I was just wondering if you could get the Spec III verison at the store or if you need to download it. I am going to wait a few weeks at least to get one, but I'd guess it is pretty easy to that right? And free?
 
It's a free update. You need a broadband internet connection.
 
Be prepared with a mug of coffee and a few hours of waiting... sometimes the updates can be dog slow.

Never takes a few hours.
 
Depends on your connection, the time of day, and whether PSN network is feeling up to it. In the early days, it took a few dozen broken connections (even with your internet at full strenght) to update. Nowadays, it might be quicker.
 
I've had no problems updating, although it took some time.
