Quick Question about Paint Chips

Bought Matte Black LFA, traded back n forth a bunch, then painted it with 1 of my 2 Matte Orange chips. Now when I trade it back n forth, I still get the Matte Black chip EVEN THOUGH the car view screen shows it colored with Matte Orange.

So wtf?

I think your duplicating it, based on what your saying.
 
That happens for some reason. The car still comes with the original chip. Happened to my Speed 12 that I painted pearl red but still came with "flip flop yellow" (Looks like "yellow snow")

You will only receive the color chip with which the car was originally painted, regardless of how many times, or with which paints you paint it with. The idea, I suspect, is to make the chips more valuable - otherwise, you could simply trade a matte or chrome car to someone and they'd receive a rare chip. Of course, that concern is no longer an issue with duping, but I think that's why it was there in the first place.

I saw a picture of someone who had 167 Chrome paints, is that all from duping?
