I was just looking at the prize cars and how some cars come in 3/4 different colors. Does that mean that every time I would do that series I would get a car or would I win a different color for 3/4 times and win no more cars after I get them all? :banghead:

Every time you win a series with multiple prize cars, you will win a prize car. You can do this forever if you wish. There is no way to control which car or what color you get, though you can keep trying using the "save and reload" trick (search for it, it's posted here) until you get a car you like.

I did a 2 hour endurance, when it was finished there was a 1 in 4 chance of getting an F1 car. Sadly I didn't get it. I done it again because I really wanted the F1 car, again I didn't get it.

The 3rd time it tried it, I got the car.

Some cars come in like 6-7 colours....I think it was Gumpy that collected all the different colours over a few different memory cards. Heh.

Since I have spent numerous months in trying to win every color, I think I'm qualified to answer. I have found that the most color combos for any specific car is the FTO LM race car with 8 different color combos. Have fun trying to get all those. Plus, there are rarer, if that is a word, colors of certain vehicles. For instance, the Orange S2000 LM race car is extremely hard to get, as well as the Black on Black FTO LM. When I get some time, I will sit down and count all of the color combo amounts for ya, but I am too tired, and will return you an answer soon.

Did you mean the orange and black S2000 LM Race Car? I got that one the first time I played GT3. The best colors for the FTO LM is the green, and the silver. The best colors for the RX-7 LM Race Car is the titanium pearl silver(?), and the bright fluorescent red IMO.

Come to think of it, I only remember 7 FTO LM colors.

1. Yellow

2. Black

3. Red

4. Green

5. Blue

6 Silver

7. White

What am I missing?

You aren't. There are 7 colours for the FTO LM.

I like the blue one. It took quite many reloads to get it ;)
The white and silver ones don't look bad either. But blue is the best looking for me.

I have every car and color listed plus every color available for each, if you really want it posted.

Woohoo I've got the orange S2000! So being orange makes it faster right? :odd:

Good! Maybe now I can get a good nights sleep! Not knowing what color I was missing kept me up at night. :D

Bom-bom-bommmmm.

Bah, I like the red-and-black S2000 LM the best, anyhow. I've already won an orange-and-black F090/S, so I don't feel as if there is a void.

The car that's always given me fits lately is the Sparkle Green RX-7 RZ. I've tried save-reload about 30 tries, and still can't win it in that color!

I recall the green FTO LM was tricky to win in GT1. The black one was truly dime-a-dozen.

Yah, the orange and black S2000 is the hardest one to get in the Greatest Hits version of the game, but not in the original. I don't know why that is.

Well technically yes, but not really...
I'll explain. The body colors are the same, but there are different wheel combo colors, for instance, the silver FTO comes with either Black with red trim rims or Gray with blue trim rims. Hope that helps.

There are also some very nashty color combos on the F090/s (Sky blue)
Though I have found some very interesting colors for the Camaro Race car.
The RX-7 Type RZ and RS.
Spoon and Mugen S2000's
I just wish I could win an 3400S Ruf in some color other than gold.

You could always just buy a 3400s you know. That is the only way to get a color aside from the Champagne Gold, which is the only color the prize model of that car comes in.

Damn! You must REALLY have an eye for detail (or really be bored) to notice that between two cars...I hardly ever look at the wheels.
