Ok, I have about 1.5 million credits if I sell all the cars in my garage except for the car I currently use (Viper with 1100ish HP, top speed high 200s). I bought a Pikes Peak Escudo thing, got it to like 1800 HP, but the stupid thing only maxes out at like 206 MPH on the machine test...what am I doing wrong?? Also, is there a way to stop the toggle thing at the end of a series when the 4 prize cars are toggling after the win screen? And if I dont want the car I won in endurance mode, do I have to race it again to get the car I want? Because for series, I used to save after the 4th race, skip the 5th and reload til I got what I wanted since I donno how to stop the toggle

Okay - what does it do at that speed - are the revs not climbing, is it continuing to wheel spin? What gear are you in?

At a guess I think the gearing is probably too short - you'll need to widen the gearing so that 6th is taller and the car can wind out properly.
 
nope you cant toggle the cars... but yeah what most people do is the save before the last race trick and reload till they get the car they want... that is the way to go.
 
it goes to 6th gear...im not that great with cars...it just like stutters from around 204 to 207 on the speedometer and never goes faster...my viper goes high 200s as aforementioned, which is why im puzzled.
 
It's the gearing - go the settings screen and look for the gears. Go to the autosetting and set it right over to the right.

Also, if you're looking for speed, take off all the downforce.
 
ok cool....ill try that after this endurance race is over...im praying i get the best car...all or nothin chance for these endurance things :D
 
nah i reloaded...no escudo yet :P

but i cant get my damn s license, and i cant beat the last rally test...i tried for like an hour and got oh so close but no cigar
 
Just got to keep trying - make sure you watch the demos closely.

run it in manual and dont let the car above third gear.
