Did a quick search through the tuning forum and couldn't find a readily available list of brake bias ratios so here is a list of ratios ordered in ascending values:

Code:
[SIZE=3]Front Rear Front bias Front Rear Front bias
10 10 0.5 6 3 0.666667
9 9 0.5 4 2 0.666667
8 8 0.5 2 1 0.666667

Notes

  • Duplicate ratios are ordered in descending braking force.
  • Brake values of '0' still exert a small amount of braking force.
  • Just reverse the Front:Rear values to obtain the same ratios for Rear bias.

Cheers,

What you also left out is that in the "world according to PD" zero is in fact, not zero. When you tune brakes to 0/0 they still work and without ABS a zero rear brake bias is not uncommon.

Yeah I just did some tests on SS Route X and can confirm that higher brake values do provide more braking force (easier to lock up) and that values of 0 do provide some braking (almost incapable of locking up).
I've updated the table to include all possible combinations of brake values now.

If I have

Front: 0
Back: 10

Can you experiment on this and tell me which wheel will lock up and on what pressure.

Depends on the car, ballast, weight distribution, spring rates, camber, LSD, blah blah blah. So, no... we can't.

haven't actually tried it but as long as you're only pressing the brake pedal then the rear wheels will easily lock up with abs off. some cars are capable of locking up wheels with a 0 brake value but only at lower speeds just before coming to a stop.

edit: just tested the above with a MR car and confirmed my expectations. additionally even with abs enabled the car can become unstable under heavy braking if there is any steering input. the important thing to note is that most cars require different brake values even if you want them to behave in the same manner, whatever that may be.
