hi guys

i just wondered if anyone has come across this before. i have just bought the t500rs and set it up on the ps3. My laps times are worse and i can get no way near what i was with the dfgt. i have set up the dfgt and got the ghost car running, saved the car and then swapped back to t500rs. i load the ghost car and i cant keep up with it, even from a standing start on a straight. is this an issue with the pedals or is there a way to calibrate them on the ps3.
cheers

jay

The only way to calibrate the pedals is to press brake and gas fully prior the first race. Therafter the pedals are calibratet until you restart the game.

I changed from a Fanatec GT3 to the T500 and did not experience what you describe. Are you using clutch and manual shifter (TH8 RS)?

when you say before the first race do you mean load the game and then on the title screen push them down fully? ill give that a go.

i have got the th8 rs but i was just using auto for comparison so both were equal.

thanks for the reply

Do it during loading screen, because gas equals the "X" button and brake equals the "O" button. So you may select something in the main menu, which you don't want :sly:

The first pedal pushes after starting gt5 (no matter where your at in game) set the travel of the pedals. So after launching gt5 be careful with the pedals till depressed fully. If you push one partial the first time, its set to that until you reboot game.
