Looks like a lot of guys are getting desperate and even more slimy than they normally are.
If you're gonna do an immediate trade before the deadline, do yourself a favor and do a forum search on the other guy's ID / PSN. Finding nothing bad may not keep you from getting scammed, but there are several names being bandied about at the moment. Mods may zap those threads at some point, but better safe than sorry if you can see the names right now.
If you complete a good trade, make sure to submit your partner's name to the stickied thread up on top. We may lose our ability to trade 1,000,000cr+ cars, but there are still some less expensive rides that people will want to get ahold of.
