As I've read you're working on a new design for the website, I thought I'd leave this idea here.

Would it be possible to create a 'My posts' button in the yellow box (maybe optional)? Because when I log in I prefer to go to threads I posted last in rather than my subscriptions. It's easier for me to keep track of replies/quotes directed at me.

Right now I got to go to my profile first, let it finish loading up (on my phone and my PS3 which I both use often to browse, profile pages load for almost 20 seconds usually, for whatever reason), than select my statistics and click on 'Show all my posts'. A short cut with less clicks would be comfortable. :)

Thanks in advance for any replies. Feel free to leave your thoughts on this idea or criticize me for being too stupid to simply bookmark the 'My posts' search.
(I did a couple of times but after one day the link didn't work anymore and it said no search results. So I guess search links time out?)

Yes, search id's extinguish after a few seconds. Queries last longer.

nnnnnn is a fixed "user id number", assigned to you when you join the site. They are between 1-6 digits (at the time of this thread). Hover over your username to find it (it will say "u=" followed by that number).

You can only get your 100 most recent posts this way, but all searches are limited 100 results, even if you use more stringent criteria.

Any way to get more than your last 100, like posts between 300 and 400 or is it hard coded into the site to give last 100?

I don't think so, some sort of query string variables ought to be included...but nothing I've seen lets you pick via post count, except for sorting in ascending order.

It's a setting in vBulletin and Jordan has it at 100 to cut down on server load I should imagine. Searching a huge, decade old Database is intensive as i'm sure you know and trying to pull up hundreds or thousands of results is going to be pretty intensive.

Kiro, a link like that won't be on the new site, but it will include other features which I think will make your current way of navigating the site obsolete. :)

No, it's a hard limit, for the aforementioned reasons. To see other posts outside of your most recent 100, I recommend using the advanced search options.
