Hello, I'm trying to revision another post that isn't mine and their post contains quotes, but I noticed that if you quote their post, anything that has quotes disappears. Try quoting this:

Testing, did it disappear?

So is there any way for me to keep the quotes in the post or do I have to copy/paste and add quote tags every time?

I think you have to add the quote tags every time.

I think you have to add the quote tags every time.

This.

You have to nest quote tags in each other, which can be made a bit easier using multi-quote.

The reason why quoted text isn't included in quotes further down is to prevent massive quote-ception type posts where you have a dozen different posts all nested in each other. I've seen it on other forums and it isn't pretty...

Above is what it looks like if I just hit the quote button.

Here, I copied and pasted the text in the quote, then highlighted the text and hit the quote button in the 'go advanced' options.
