After years of loyal service, GT1 catagory racing has left Le Mans. There is still the World GT1 Championship, but after ACO calling time on the catagory's participation at Le Mans, and Mr.Ratel's cost cutting efforts, I don't see that series lasting much longer either.

So it seems we will have to remember GT1 as it was,i.e Aston V Corvette, Corvette V Prodrive Ferrari, Saleen V Maserati And Lister V Dodge. Which is no bad thing :)
